If you had asked me when I first started chronicling my life and times if I could go a month without talking about bowel movements, I would have answered “yes … yes, I think I can.” Turns out, I can’t. All this talk about euphemisms the last few days has reminded me of something. Do you know what phrase Mr. Jeepers uses to describe bowel movements?
“Making muffins.” Sometimes he’ll just excuse himself saying
“I have to go make muffins now.” I’m sure more than a few people have found peculiar his seemingly random desire to bake.
I pledge to you that I will not refer to bowel movements or making muffins again for at least another month. Because none of us need that.
