If you ever listen to games on the radio or watch them on TV, you know that there’s a lot of advertising – or marketing – that goes on right in the middle of the game. The announcers will say something like “that double play was brought to you by Budweiser,” or “this call to the pen is brought to you by Farmer’s Insurance.” Well I thought of something that’s way better than that. Now just for illustration, I’m going to say Viagra, but it could be them, or Levitra or Cialis or even Lou Pinella – they’re just going to have to have a bidding war among themselves. But here it is….imagine it’s the first inning and the batter swings and gets a little under the ball, and the announcer says “and there’s our first Viagra pop-up of the evening. There’s sure to be many more to come.” And then every time another one is hit, which will probably be like at least twenty times in a game, they’ll just say “and there’s another Viagra pop-up.”
Okay all you pharmaceutical companies, and Lou, I expect you’ll come to me to get the rights to this, because I’m calling dubs on it right now!

Well, it looks like they’re starting to bring in Our Duncan Funk Song of the Day. You’re probably thinking that in honor of it being the first day of baseball season, that it’d be something like John Fogerty’s Centerfield. Nope, as good of a song as that might be, it’s just too predictable. Instead, we’re going with a song that has the same title as yesterday’s song of the day, but get this, it’s a different song! AMAZING! If you don’t recognize the name of the artist right off the bat (get the baseball pun?), well, he used to be the lead vocalist, or at least one of the lead vocalists, for Pink Floyd. Click on the title to see the video.
