So here it is: Sarah Palin, spokeswoman for Boboli Pizza. What’s one of the things Sarah Palin is known for? Winking, that’s what? She’s one big-time winker. And what’s Boboli pizza known for? Well, as our readers well know by now, Boboli, in addition to being a tasty treat, is also a euphemism for lovemaking, for the horizontal two-step, for, well in a word, sex. (See our April 20th post.) Put ‘em together, and you’ve got marketing magic.
Picture this: smiling Sarah voicing a fairly traditional script about the virtues of the pizza side of Boboli … you know, tasty, wholesome, fun. And then her smile gets even bigger, and a little mischievous, and she says "Enjoy some Boboli tonight." WINK. (And it’s big wink, ladies and gentlemen.) And then there’d be an ending shot of a hot steaming Boboli just out of the oven, with an attractive couple getting ready to partake (of the pizza), and a male voice-over announcer saying "Spice up your life with Boboli." And then you’d hear Sarah’s disembodied voice saying: Youbetcha! And fade to black.
Like I say, I’m not a Sarah Palin fan, but frankly I’m getting a little aroused just thinking about it. And hungry.

It's time for Our Duncan Funk Song of the Day, and judging by the title of the selection he'll be performing for us, John Fogerty is on board with the Sarah / Boboli idea too.
Title: Don't You Wish It Was True
