If I Could Have a Do-Over

The title of Wednesday’s post – I’m Glad Human Gals Don’t Have Udders – wasn’t bad. In fact, I think it was pretty good, what with encompassing the whole concept of “human” gals as opposed to other kinds of gals. But as good as it was, if I had it to do over, I think I’d have gone with this title:

I’m Glad Our Women-Folk Don’t Have Udders

It has kind of a protective, folksy quality that I like. For awhile it had even crossed my mind that if I could have a do-over, I could even add a photo. I actually went through the process of going online and downloading a full-length publicity shot of Today Show co-host Meredith Vierra, and then another photo of an udder, cutting it out and taping it on to the photo of Ms. Vierra, and running it through my scanner. As might be expected, it came out delightfully tacky and amateurish. And I was tempted to use it. But then good sense prevailed, and I thought, whoa Duncan, you better step back ‘cause this is really lame. Yes it was. (But trust me, I now have visual proof that Meredith Vierra looks better without an udder.)

Well, I’ve probably milked this whole udder thing for more than it’s worth. Milked it! Eh what, eh what! Wink wink, nod, nod.
