Vulva and I recently took a weekend trip to the Columbia Gorge, a beautiful area east of Portland where the river serves as the border between Washington and Oregon. This photo was taken from one of the many scenic outlooks along the road. There were lots of other folks snapping photos too. At one point a man who was there with a female companion came up to me, held out his camera, and in a friendly voice said "hey, would you mind taking a picture?" I smiled back and said I’d be happy to. He probably was expecting that I was going to take a picture of him and his companion together, but instead I just held his camera out in front of me at arm’s length and took a close-up shot of me with the Gorge in the background. Then I smiled and handed the camera back to him and said “there you go,” and walked away. He probably doesn’t know it, but I think he made out pretty good ‘cause now he’s got a close-up shot of Duncan Funk taken on his very own camera, and that could be worth something someday.
