These are the big, billowing type of clouds that often form on the horizon on hot summer days. They can reach all the way up to 39,000 feet high! They always look so impressive. But sometimes they don’t really do all that much; they just sit there on the side quietly and eventually fade away. But other times, watch out, because they can really put on a show – holy smokes, talk about your fireworks! I guess that’s why I like them so much … at a minimum they’re always fun to look at, and if you’re lucky, there’ll be a lot of good action to boot.

I’m not sure if these clouds were what Sly and The Family Stone were thinking about when they performed Our Duncan Funk Song of the Day, but it could have been. Boom-a-laka-laka, boom-a-laka-laka.
