Berenstain Bears To Introduce New Topical Character, Leonard, Who’s “Not Just a Little Gay”

This post came about because I was thinking about how there are different people in the world, and some of those people could be named Leonard, and some of those people could be gay, and some of those people could be really gay, and that in the world of the Berenstain Bears rather than saying “really gay” they’d probably say instead “not just a little gay” because they often used that literary convention.  And voila, there’s a post.  It’s that easy, folks.  At least if your standards aren’t too high.

Okay, Our Duncan Funk Song of the Day is one you’ve undoubtedly never heard of, but one I’ve always really liked (and it’s my blog so I’ll feature it if I damn well please).  It’s written from the perspective of a guy who’s been hired to play background piano at a high-society party, and throughout the song he comments on the various guests he observes.  It contains one of my favorite lines of all time; in commenting on “the wallflower,” he writes: “she marvels at the confidence of those who hide their fears.”  Party on.
