More Talent Show Competition

Well, it looks like our Chamber of Commerce talent shows are going to become even more competitive. I’ve heard that two local guys, Jason White and Phillip Wong, have formed a “folk-duo,” and I guess they’re really, really good. They call themselves White and Wong. I’ve heard some people say that when they’re on the stage, they actually can’t tell the difference between White and Wong. Come on people, here’s a hint: Phillip is Asian – it can’t be that tough.

Boboli Voting Update: I still haven't heard anything on the Boboli election. But I did receive two "dollar-off on your next Boboli purchase coupons" in the mail yesterday. I like to think the best about people whenever I can, so I'm hoping it was nothing more than a friendly gesture on their part. But there's a little voice in the back of my head saying maybe it was their way of politely suggesting that I go enjoy a Boboli with myself.

Yes, it's time for Our Duncan Funk Song of the Day. You know, I think this is actually one of my favorite songs of all time. It has what I call "The Three C's": a great sound and melody, a very good lead vocalist, and poignant lyrics. Click on the song title to see the video.
