It’s Been More Than a Month, So I’m Okay

Way back on April 22nd, I wrote a hilarious post – well at least it was mildly amusing – on how Mr. Jeepers uses the term “making muffins” as a euphemism for bowel movements. At the end of that post, I made a solemn pledge that I would not refer to bowel movements or making muffins for at least another month because, as I said, none of us need that. Well it’s been more than a month, and I’ve been waiting patiently all this time.

Just a few short hours after making that post, something possessed me to do a Google search on euphemisms for bowel movements. The first result that came up – the very first one – was in its own question and answer format: Do you have a favorite euphemism for having a bowel movement? And someone, most likely a Cleveland resident, said “Taking the Browns to the Super Bowl.” I gotta admit, I thought that was pretty damned good, and I so wanted to share it, but because of my stupid pledge, I couldn’t. But now I can, so there you go.

And now, it will be at least two more months – guaranteed.
