The Power of Puppets

I always carry a couple of puppets around in the back of my car, just in case they might be needed to help diffuse an escalating situation that I might come upon. In that type of a situation, when tensions are often rising quickly, many people at first seem surprised when I interrupt them, holding up my hands and introducing them to my friends "Dunk" and "Funk." But many seem genuinely interested, and even charmed, by my subsequent puppet demonstration. And those that aren’t, those who are more cynical, they tend to say something like “oh Christ, the dude’s got puppets” – but they end up leaving, so it’s all good.

And yes, I do feel good about myself afterwards.

For the first time on our stage we’re welcoming The Little Willies for Our Duncan Funk Song of the Day. The song’s fine – it’s not really great – but I’ve got this crush on Norah Jones and she just shows here why she’s so incredibly crush-worthy.
