Here's A Happy Little Ditty

Sometimes a song just pops in to my head, completely out of the blue. That happened to me this morning, and I just kind of keep singing it over and over to myself. It’s to the tune of Yankee Doodle Dandy, and it goes like this:

I’m a Duncan Funkin’ dandy
A Duncan Funkin’ kind of guy
I like big breasts
And I like to rest
And I like apple pie.

If I’m honest with myself, I have to admit it’s probably not an award winner. But even so, I think it’s something I might end up singing probably for the rest of my life, at least every once in a while … like when I’m feeling happy, or sad, or even patriotic. But not at my wedding – that wouldn’t be in good taste.

Okay, we have to talk. It was a month ago today that I posted my first post. And what a month it’s been! I’ve posted every single day since then – yowzer! But now that the initial glow is wearing off just a bit, I’m thinking I might start scaling back just a little bit, to a more reasonable three or four times a week … sometimes maybe more, sometimes maybe less. (I do have a lot to say, so it’ll probably be more.) I just wanted to let you know in advance – I wouldn’t want you to come here some day and not see a post, and then work yourself into a tizzy over it. So are we okay? Good.

For Our Duncan Funk Song of the Day, we have Ms. Norah Jones. Norah Jones … um, um, umh! I don’t say this very often, and of course I say it most respectfully, but if it wasn’t for Vulva, boy would I like to Duncan Funk her. (Just kidding, Vulva. Vulva? Punkin’…?)
